The Flag of the Free West was formulated by a Summit Delegate and then developed and voted upon by all the Delegates of the Summit meetings to be a rallying point and image of the Free West. The Indigo bars stand out on either side of the pure white center. The Indigo Shield of Faith represents the security and ability to ward off the evil forces and protect the people of this land. The Shield is overlaid by the Yellow Four Pointed Star, which is unique in flags. The Four Pointed Star symbolizes the North Star which hangs above our land. It symbolizes the Birthplace of Righteousness and Truth which provide Direction and Guidance. It is the radiant sword of truth defending our people. It is a symbolic Cross, which reminds us of the price paid, and the responsibility of serving our neighbor. Together the Star & Shield are the emblems of our aspired virtues.
